The Healing School Life Saving Station
The Healing School, also known as the Life Saving Station (LSS), is one of the ministry expressions of Christ Faith City Centre.
It is centred on the Gospel of Jesus Christ, prayer, faith, biblical teaching and the encouragement of believers to live and serve according to the Word of God.
The ministry exists to reach people with the message of Christ, encourage those who are seeking God, strengthen faith and equip believers to become witnesses of the Gospel.
A ministry focused on Christ, the Word of God and the spiritual growth of believers.
Jesus Sends Out the Twelve Disciples
The ministry is inspired by the biblical commission given by Jesus Christ to His disciples to preach, serve and demonstrate the love and power of God.
And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.
Matthew 10:1In Matthew 10:7-8, Jesus instructed His disciples to preach that the kingdom of heaven is at hand and to minister to people in need. The disciples were sent with a clear Gospel assignment.
The ministry takes inspiration from this biblical example and seeks to encourage believers to follow Christ, share the Gospel and serve others with faith, humility and compassion.
Luke 10:17 also records the return of the seventy disciples with joy after carrying out the mission given to them by Jesus.
Faith Is the Vehicle of Hope
Faith is an important part of the Christian journey. Through faith, believers are encouraged to trust God, seek Him in prayer and continue walking in His Word.
The story of the woman with the issue of blood demonstrates a powerful example of someone who reached out to Jesus in faith, believing that she would receive healing.
The Healing School encourages people to seek Christ through prayer and faith while growing in their understanding of the Word of God.
